2007 Land Warrior with GPS/ Nightvision Binocular/ Monocular/ Laser Sight.
Since the day I was born I have always tended to like boys’ stuff… I didn’t like playing with dolls, braid my hair and play with other girls in my neighborhood to that I preferred going fishing, hunting and diving with my dad. I think, that my father wanted a boy when my mom was pregnant with me… so that was the result of his dreams… I loved playing with boys in school and I also didn’t mind fighting. I fought for my opinion, my believes and when I defended my younger brother… (honestly that was my best excuse) I’ve changed a little since that time, but I still love everything that most girls don’t. So, recently I’ve read an article and thought that you might be interested to know, so here you go. The article said, that the Pentagon has announced that the large-scale element of an infantry division (4th battalion, 9th infantry) fully equipped with “The Soldier of the Future” package ( this program is called Land Warrior and it started up 15 years ago) is set to go to Iraq in 2007. This equipment package consists of satellite transmitter and GPS-navigator which precisely determines soldier’s dislocation area. There is also a monocular attached on the soldier’s helmet, this monocular allows a soldier define his location on the electronic map. This monocular is connected with the rifle sight that helps a soldier fire not showing his head. Electronic sight allows magnify the target by 12 times, so every soldier turns into a sharpshooter. There is also a night vision binocular and laser sight in the package. Each Land Warrior package weighs about 13,23 pounds and costs $ 30,000.
